SHARING MUSIC

I believe music is the key to our soul. Different cultures, instruments, and vibes connect people around the world. We can express ourselves through music and feel our emotions on a much higher level. That's why I wanted to share with you my favorite music, which makes me feel happy and alive.

Latin music

Since I was 15 I fell in love with Latin music. There is so much color in it, happiness, and makes you want to celebrate and appreciate the beautiful things in life.

The Gipsy Kings are largely responsible for bringing the joyful sounds of progressive pop-oriented flamenco to the world. The band started out in Arles, a village in southern France, during the '70s when brothers Nicolas and Andre Reyes, teamed up with their cousins JacquesMaurice, and Tonino Baliardo. They originally called themselves Los Reyes and started out as a Gypsy band traveling about playing weddings, festivals, and in the streets. Because they lived so much like Gypsies, the band adopted the name the Gipsy Kings.

Yerba Buena was a Latin fusion band. The group, active between 2003 and 2009, was founded by Venezuelan musician and producer Andres Levin.

Yerba Buena's music (as described by Razor & Tie, the band's record label) is a blend of Latin music (Cuban rumba, Colombian cumbia, Pan-Caribbean Soca, and Cuban Boogaloo) with hip-hopMotownsoulAfrobeat, and a dash of Middle Eastern themes.
